Beyond making original music, Dean is the director of The Songwriting Studio, a resource and community aimed at training songwriters how to write and produce meaningful, high quality music from home through weekly video blogs, in-depth courses, and studio production services. Dean has a passion for passing on what he has learned through songwriting for more than a decade, working with clients in the studio, and teaching more than 100 students in private and group lessons.
Dean is also a follower of Jesus, a husband, a father, and a worship pastor at his home church. seems like! I want to create covers for popular songs, I learned how to play them with uke and guitar and how to sing them. Now it's time to learn how to record and mix those covers!

Dean is a fantastic teacher, skilled and very funny, I laughed out loud numerous times. Someone to aspire too. The one thing I was looking for and this course is lacking in, is the craft of song writing. I wanted a course to help me write songs and thing perhaps the course title should be changed to highlight that this is more about about the engineering and production of a song rather than the craft of actually writing a song.
