A self-taught programmer with over 25 years experience dating back to the days of the ZX Spectrum and Sam Coupé. I now work as a postdoctoral researcher in bioinformatics, using Python and other tools to analyse large datasets.
I have over 8 years experience with Python and 5+ years experience building applications with PyQt. I've developed and released a number of successful PyQt applications and Python packages and contribute to popular open source projects.
I'm originally from the United Kingdom but recently moved to the Netherlands. Ik spreek een beetje Nederlands.

Yes, easy to follow so far. I would add an optional video to tell users how to set this up with Anaconda environments :)

El curso me pareció excelente aunque me gustaría que el profesor pudiera actualizar la sección del QView porque en las versiones mas recientes de PyQt QView ya se encuentra obsoleto y ahora se usa QViewEngine lo cual en algunos puntos del curso me detuvo. pero fuera de ahí excelente todo

Using Python and Qt is an important requirement in my current job. This course is an excellent way to truly understand how to use Python and Qt together.

This course is "to the point". It provides the basis to get you started in PyQT5/PySide2 at a reasonable speed. I would have preferred a fully PySide2 version as this is made directly by QT, but until now it what I have tried does always work.
So far, so good. I'm only through lesson 6 but this is just what I wanted to learn.
