The Team YKY is newly formed to make various educational program at UDEMY in 2018. The first experimental program was Elementary Origaim Course, and are now launching Japanese Kanji and Calligraphy Course (called SHODO).
Yoshi is a team leader of the Team YKY. He has strong financial market background. Worked for US and German firms total of 27 years. In additon, he opened Washi Paper business in 2016. The Origami Elementary Course at UDEMY has had participants of 6200 in 14 months, and acquired evaluation rate of 4.56 (as of 05/01/2018). Yoshi happened to come across with Mr. Tsukada, the origami technical director of this course, and acknowledged that he is the world class origami artist, specialized in Renzuru, kissing cranes. Tsukada and Yoshi were eager to transfer this craft skills all over the world. Now this new Kanji and Calligraphy class, Kan-Oh and Yukko joined the team.
Kan-Oh is the youngest Mainichi Shodo Champion in 2017. Mainichi Shodo Competition is the highest grade concour in Japan. He has achieved the top where competitors exceeded more than 20,000. He has his own Shodo Class both in Tokyo and Gunma Prefecture. He has been hosting his own one-man exhibition almost every year, and expect to have another one in the fall of 2018.
Yukko is IT responsible personnel in the Team YKY. She has graduated University of Hawaii, majored Social Study. You will find Yukko's fancy Power Point Presentation material in this Kanji/Calligraphy course.
