First, I would like to thank you for considering taking one of my courses. Feel free to message me at any time to discuss anything you like; I am happy to help.
About Me?
I am an engineer who is obsessed with education and research!
I am currently researching designing Floating Cities at Princeton University, which the #1 university in the United States. I am lucky to be one of the researchers tackling such futuristic topics.
At Princeton, I met and learned from the best engineers in the world - including Bill Baker, the man behind the design of Burj Khalifa.
In addition, at Princeton University, I am teaching and mentoring many of the smartest students in the world.
In the future, I dream to build futuristic cities on Mars or other planets, and I also aim to become a worldwide engineering educator.
During my free time, I publish engineering episodes on my YouTube channel "Engineering Philosophy" where I have over 1 million views and around 20,000 subscribers from over 110 countries.
I am happily married to Sara Anis-ElDarwich, who also teaches with me on Udemy; Sara's research focuses on 3D printing of body organs such as skin and liver.
Why I sell my courses?
A few years ago, I started uploading my engineering courses on Udemy. I am glad that Udemy offers the courses at discounted prices because I want all students from all financial backgrounds to be able to afford them. This is why I chose Udemy!
I am honored to have many best-selling courses on Udemy. It makes me happy to know that my students are willing to enroll in my courses.
What do I like to teach?
I am interested in teaching several topics in structural, mechanics, and materials engineering. I am interested in teaching you the theory rather than just plugging numbers.
What and Where did I study?
I am getting my doctorate degree (Ph.D.) and master's degree in engineering from Princeton University in the Creative & Resilient Urban Engineering (CRUE) group.
Before joining Princeton, I earned another master's degree from Syracuse University in Upstate New York; I joined Syracuse with the prestigious fellowship by Dubai Contracting Company (DCC).
I also earned my Bachelors of Engineering (B.E.) from the Lebanese American University (LAU) with a full scholarship from the European Union.
Any hobbies?
I am a bodybuilder since 2009. I also enjoy cooking, watching documentaries, reading philosophical fiction books, and of course, taking care of turtles.
Anything Else?
I love constructive comments, so feel free to message me to (1) update lectures, (2) add new lectures or topics, (3) add quizzes, (4) take any advice, or even (5) create new courses.
Thanks and Goodluck,
Respectfully,
Hamid ElDarwich,
