In this course you are going to learn a step-by-step process how to sketch like an architect. It begins with the very basics of making straight lines and progresses to gradually more complex compositions of sketched perspectives. Along the way you are going to learn important tips and tricks, drills, and techniques to achieve sketches with architectural look, strong character, and story within.
You will learn not only the sketching technique, but also about the thinking behind the process - e.g. why and how to add people to your sketches, how to create a sense of depth in an image, and much more.
This course is perfect for anyone interested in sketching or drawing. If you´re an architecture student, you´d like to capture the moments from your holidays, spaces around you, or you just like to doodle, then this class is just for you!

David Drazil is a young architect who loves to sketch. He’s commited to help other architects, designers, and hobby sketchers to understand, develop, and communicate their ideas better by sharing his knowledge and tips on architectural sketching.
During his architectural studies, both in the Czech Republic and Denmark, he found his passion in the visual representation of architecture - namely architectural sketching, visualisations, animation, and virtual reality.
As a trained architect (Master of Science in Architecture and Design), David gained international experience working as an architect for KHR Architects or Danielsen Architecture in Copenhagen, Denmark.
David shares freebies and educational resources on architectural sketching, runs a website SketchLikeAnArchitect[dot]com, a successful Instagram page where he built an engaged community of more than 130k fans, and David collaborates as a featured artist with sketching apps on iPad called Morpholio and ShadowDraw.
