Meet Carmen González

My professional career has always been in the business world, but my true passion is cooking.

Currently, I own a restaurant and tapas bar in Valladolid, my hometown. Valladolid is in the heart of the Ribera del Duero, the birthplace of great Spanish wines.

A love of cooking has been passed down through generations in my family. All the women in my family have been and are great cooks.

My love of Spanish cuisine is routed in my love of family. The flavors, aromas, and natural ingredients forever remind me of my family and my childhood.

Over the years, I have treasured these delicious family recipes, and I am excited to share them with you.

One of my greatest pleasures is watching people enjoy my cooking!

Mi nombre es Carmen González,

Mi trayectoria profesional se ha desarrollado siempre en el mundo de los negocios, si bien, mi verdadera pasión es la cocina.

Esta pasión la heredé de mi madre, que a su vez la heredó de la suya y ésta de mi bisabuela. En mi familia todas las mujeres han sido y son unas grandes cocineras.

Actualmente regento un restaurante y bar de tapas en Valladolid, mi tierra, corazón de la Ribera del Duero y cuna de grandes vinos.

Espero que disfrutes tanto como yo preparando estos pequeños tesoros de la gastronomía española.
