WHO IS DOCTOR MIX?
Doctor Mix is a division of BBC-acclaimed music label Sunlightsquare Records (London). Specialising in online mastering and mixing services, Doctor Mix is now entering its eleventh year of operation, with an ever-growing client base.
Claudio Passavanti is the founder of Doctor Mix and Sunlightsquare Records. A long-established producer, pianist and DJ, his career has taken him from LA, where he studied Orchestral Composing and Arranging, to London and all around the world. Previously in-house producer for techno label Almighty Records, he has engineered and produced commercial releases and film music covering just about every genre
Dom Sigalas is an in-demand producer, multi-instrumentalist and composer for film, TV and video games. His credits include Universal Music, StudioCanal and the National Geographic and Animal Planet channels. Alongside his work as a media composer and arranger, Dom also writes and produces songs for pop artists and teaches a course in Orchestration and Music Creation at the SAE Institute.
THE TEAM & THE STUDIOS
Established in 2006, Doctor Mix’s London studio complex includes three top production rooms and a group of producers, sound engineers, session musicians and DJs. Our core team of 4 mixing and mastering experts creates also our popular video content. We love music and equipment, and we get a lot of both! Our production studios are equipped with great analogue and digital gear: Thermionic Culture Fat Bustard Tube Summing Mixer, Studer A80 Master Tape Recorder, Neve 33609 JD compressor, Thermionic Culture Phoenix Mastering compressor, Empirical Labs Distressor, SSL XLogic G Series compressor, Universal Audio Solo 610, TC Electronic Finalizer, Yamaha, KRK, Adam and PMC monitors, and GIK Acoustic sound treatment in all rooms. Our collaboration with the top equipment manufacturers and distributors in the UK gives us access to some of the best outboard gear available on the market today, from brands including Lynx, Prism Sound, Thermionic Culture, Shadow Hills, Chandler Limited, Tube Tech, Neve and more.
